Forensic
Vehicle Examinations and Inspections |
|
|
|
- A
vehicle that is involved in a collision requires a
forensic examination of vehicle damage to determine
the type and extent of the damage. This relates directly
to the dynamics of the collision as to the type of
maneuver the motor vehicle was involved in at the
time of the collision and what the driver of the vehicle
was doing to cause the vehicle to perform that maneuver.
- Contact points of the occupants as
well as pedestrians need to be examined so that a
proper evaluation can be made as to the type of collision,
vehicle dynamic, and how speed and time and distance
may be related to each.
- Restraint systems for the vehicles
occupants need to be addressed as to the potentiality
of injury. Were they in use at the time of the collision
or not?
- Should mechanical issues be present
or stated that may affect the handling of an involved
vehicle MVC Forensics has Ministry Licenced Forensic
Mechanics available that can be called upon to isolate
and confirm whether or not it may have been an issue.
Our mechanics have a great deal of experience in the
field and in litigation.
